Justin “Capo” Andrews was born in Panama City Florida on December 30th 1988 and moved to Dothan Alabama when he was a few years old. Capo has a wide list musical influences that range from hip hop icons Outkast, Tupac, UGK, and the Notorious B.I.G. to soul legend James Brown, and country music idol Johnny Cash. He spent a lot of time in between staying with his mother, grandmother, and sometimes friends’ couches. He did well in school, being placed in programs for gifted and talented, but struggled with authority. Capo, in his words says “Not having much guidance kept me in and out of boot camps and juvenile centers. I grew up below the poverty line and I was cool with it, because I never required much. When it got to a point of missing meals and eating out of trashcans my mind state changed completely. I started living by any means around the age of 13 and never looked back. I've done some horrible things to some people, and I believe I've been a blessing to some. I know for sure I don't deserve to be where I'm at in life but I am beyond thankful. I still have demons that I have to overcome, and probably always will but it is what it is. If you want my bio it's going to have a be a book or because I've lived what feels like a 100 in my 25 years here... One thing for sure though is that music has saved my life and I appreciate all the support I receive, and I'm very humbled by it. God is Love.”
