JESSE KORWIN PROMOTED TO MANAGING DIRECTOR OF JINGLE PUNKS
29 November 2019 (Toronto) - Anthem Entertainment today announced the formation of a new division, Anthem Production Music Group, effective January 1, 2020. This new division, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Toronto, will include Jingle Punks, Cavendish, and 5 Alarm.
With the new division, the company has also announced new roles for executives. Co-founder and Managing Director of Jingle Punks, Dan Demole, has been promoted to global President of Anthem Production Music Group. Jesse Korwin will become Managing Director of Jingle Punks reporting to Dan. He is currently SVP of Business Development. JD Adams, Managing Director of 5 Alarm (based in Burbank) and Gareth Owen, Managing Director of Cavendish (based in London) will report to Dan. Jared Gutstadt will be leaving the company to pursue other creative interests outside of production music.
Anthem Production Music Group is being established in order to maximize the global opportunities available to Anthem Entertainment as a result of integrating the company’s various music and entertainment platforms. In addition, as studio production output increases and as the media and entertainment industries accelerate consolidation and continue to be disrupted by new technology, the need to have efficient music production creation opportunities has increased. Anthem Production Music Group is best positioned to offer clients a diverse choice of creative services under the umbrella of one of the largest and most diverse companies in the business.
Anthem Production Music Group will continue to run each of its distinct production music companies separately to retain their creativity, unique qualities, leadership and local strengths. There will be no change to client relationship activities; however, with the establishment of Anthem Production Music Group, the company will now be able to offer a broader bundle of world class service offerings to our clients including music publishing, recording and audio-visual secondary rights collection services.
Helen Murphy, CEO of Anthem Entertainment, said “Over the past year, the Jingle Punks management team has been working with me and our other divisions to reset the long-term strategy of Anthem’s production music business. Dan Demole has also successfully managed the diversification of their business to include innovative podcasts. I am excited to announce Dan’s promotion to global President of Anthem Production Music Group and I would like to thank Jingle Jared for his years of service to Jingle Punks.”
Dan Demole, Global President, Anthem Production Music Group said, "As we enter into our second decade of continued growth, I feel great about the breadth and depth of creative and executive talent that we have at Jingle Punks and I am really excited about the growth opportunities that are ahead of us. I believe that combining our strengths to offer a global bundle of services as well as maintaining the integrity of our local offerings is the best way to continue our growth track record. I would also like to wish Jared well in his future endeavors.”
Jared Gutstadt commented, “I’m entering the next chapter of my life, but I will always consider Jingle Punks family – we started together and built a wonderful company. I look forward to working with them in the future.”
Jesse Korwin, Managing Director, Jingle Punks said, “I’m thrilled about the opportunity to work with other parts of the Anthem Entertainment Group as we lead Jingle Punks into its next phase of growth and innovation.”
All the above changes are effective as of January 1, 2020.
