Toronto, ON (August 27, 2020) – CCMA Award nominee Eric Ethridge is thrilled to announce his new single “Kiss Me Goodbye”, available tomorrow via Anthem Records/Anthem Entertainment. The latest offering from Ethridge’s forthcoming album available later this fall, “Kiss Me Goodbye”, written by Ethridge, Lindsay Rimes (Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Lindsay Ell) and Matthew Joseph Rogers (Brett Eldredge, Randy Houser, Dallas Smith), is the punchy, love-struck follow-up to the smash hit “Dream Girl”, which has been streamed over 2.5 million times globally since its release earlier this year.

“From the moment we finished writing this song I knew we had something special,” says Ethridge. “It was one of those days in the writing room where everything just flowed, and I haven’t been able to stop listening to it since! I wanted to create something that would lift a person’s mood and make then want to dance, especially during these wild times we’re currently living in!”

This past spring, Ethridge released his EP “Forever With You” delivering the five-song offering after spending some downtime working on his sound. Album opener “Dream Girl”, written by Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyer and Shay Mooney, alongside Jenn Schott and Will Weatherly, and produced by GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer and writer Brian Howes (Hinder, Chris Daughtry, Nickelback), was described by Taste of Country as having a “summery feeling and shimmering pop country beat” and the companion video, which premiered on ETCanada.com, saw Ethridge partner with Nashville-based rescue “Wags and Walks”, featuring a selection of dogs available for adoption. Leaving his mark on the industry and his country music peers, Ethridge is also up for multiple 2020 CMAOntario Awards, including Single of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year, with the show set to take place this October.

With over 35 million global streams, over 14 million YouTube views and over 100k social followers, Ethridge has built a career rooted in his loyal fan base and determination. His self-titled debut EP landed in the top spot on the Canadian iTunes chart upon release and was streamed over three million times in its first six weeks, while lead track "If You Met Me First" earned him a spot on SiriusXM’s On the Horizon program for 20 consecutive weeks.
