ETHRIDGE RECENTLY NOMINATED FOR MULTIPLE CMAONTARIO AWARDS INCLUDING SINGLE OF THE YEAR, MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR AND MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR

Toronto, ON (April 24, 2020) – CCMA “Rising Star” Award nominee Eric Ethridge is pleased to unveil his new EP “Forever With You”, available digitally today via Anthem Records. The five-song offering includes lead single “Dream Girl” – written by Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyer and Shay Mooney, alongside Jenn Schott and Will Weatherly, and produced by GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer and writer Brian Howes (Hinder, Chris Daughtry, Nickelback) – which has garnered over one million streams since its February release and was described by Taste of Country as having a “summery feeling and shimmering pop country beat.” The companion video, shot earlier this year and set to premiere today on ETCanada.com, sees Ethridge partnering with Nashville-based rescue “Wags and Walks” and features a selection of dogs available for adoption. Earlier this week, it was also announced that Ethridge has been nominated for multiple CMAOntario Awards including Single of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

Says Ethridge of the album, “After spending a year and half working to develop my new sound, ‘Forever With You’ is made up of songs that are deeply personal to me, and express the stage of my life that I’m currently in. I feel that we really captured the unique blend of country and pop music that I’ve been trying to put out into the world, and this just is the beginning!”

With over 27 million global streams, nearly 13 million YouTube views and over 100k social followers, Ethridge has built a career rooted in his loyal fan base and determination. His self-titled debut EP landed in the top spot on the Canadian iTunes chart upon release and was streamed over three million times in its first six weeks, while lead track "If You Met Me First" earned him a spot on SiriusXM’s On the Horizon program for 20 consecutive weeks. Following his 2016 CCMA Discovery Program win, Ethridge went on to sign with Anthem Entertainment and in 2019, earned a nod for the CCMA Rising Star Award. Later this year, Ethridge will hit the road with Gord Bamford as part of his #REDNEK Tour.
