DHX Media Chooses ole For Worldwide Music Publishing Administration

ole, one of the world's largest independent music publishers has concluded a worldwide administration deal with the globally recognized Canadian entertainment company, DHX Media Ltd. With offices in Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver and Los Angeles, DHX Media is an international leader in television production and distribution, interactive content, and entertainment licensing, with a focus on children, family and youth markets.

 Besides delivering the music administration rights to over 40 produced or co-produced television series in the DHX Media catalog, the deal will also see ole administrate the music publishing for the entire DHX Media group of companies. This adds DHX Media's content produced by the Toronto and Halifax production studios to ole's previously completed deals with Studio B an animation producer and W!LDBRAIN Entertainment, an entertainment studio which were subsequently acquired by DHX Media.

 DHX Media, a producer, distributor and licensor, maintains a library of over 2,300 hours of television productions that covers both live action and animated programming. The internationally popular titles in the company's catalog include That's So Weird; How To Be Indie; Bo on the GO!; Animal Mechanicals; Naturally Sadie; Franny's Feet; Kid vs Kat; Angela Anaconda; dirtgirlworld; and Yo Gabba Gabba!, which also has an all-new live touring show that will be on the road this Fall for a 50-city North American tour under the banner Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! It's Time To Dance!

 The deal adds to ole's wide-ranging presence in children's music publishing. The company co-owns considerable catalog and enjoys relationships with companies like Cookie Jar, Nelvana, WGBH and Random House.
