Nashville, TN (August 23, 2019): Internationally renowned pianist, composer, and songwriter Paul Cardall has released his new album Peaceful Piano via Anthem Records. With the featured track “A New Beginning” revealed Friday, August 23rd, Cardall composed the 18-song collection entirely on his own in honor of the tenth anniversary of receiving his new heart. 

Born with congenital heart disease, he shared the news with fans on social media explaining, “Ten years ago I underwent a life-changing heart transplant. As a result, I have become a stronger person and am grateful for everything life has given me. In honor of this ten-year milestone, I have created an album called Peaceful Piano.” Adding, "Peaceful Piano is meant to inspire and help heal the hearts of others by creating a peaceful and comfortable ambiance.”

Earning nearly 2 billion streams across all platforms, Peaceful Piano will be Cardall’s latest solo album since 2016’s A New Creation which debuted at #1 on the Billboard New Age charts and #2 on Billboard’s Classical (crossover) album chart.

Since releasing his first album in 1995 and founding the indie label Stone Angel Music, the Steinway & Sons sponsored artist has impressively garnered eight No. 1’s on the Billboard Charts. Including all titles in his catalog, which was acquired by Anthem Entertainment Group last year, Cardall has been responsible for 11 No. 1’s with an additional 21 in the Top 10, totaling 43 charting releases and 279 weeks on the Billboard charts in his career. His roles as an award-winning film composer, musician and producer, have led him to collaborating with such stellar artists as Grammy award winning gospel singer CeCe Winans, Audrey Assad, and The Piano Guys among others. 

Originally from Utah, Cardall — who is currently based in Nashville, TN — is scheduled to perform with Ty Herndon at this weekend’s LOVELOUD Festival in Salt Lake City.
