ole Contending for 8th Consecutive Music Publishing Company of the Year Award; Four of the Five "Fans' Choice Award" Nominees ole Songwriters

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 28, 2014) - ole and ole songwriters proved to be a favorite with the 2014 Canadian Country Music Awards, receiving a total of 27 nominations.

ole itself will compete for its eighth consecutive Music Publishing Company of the Year Award, while ole songwriters Gord Bamford, Dean Brody, George Canyon, Jeff Coplan, Lindi Ortega, and Johnny Reid were nominated in multiple categories. Brody and Bamford also received the second- and third-most nominations of any performer with six and five each, respectively.

In addition, Bamford, Brody, Canyon, and Reid are nominated for this year's Fans' Choice Award, which is decided by fan votes. Voting is open now at http://ccmafanvote.dmds.com/VotePublic.html, and those who do so may enter the Ultimate Fan Contest for a chance to win a trip to Country Music Week and the right to present the Fans' Choice Award to the winner during the live ceremony.
