For the second consecutive year, ole picked up a SOCAN Domestic Animated Television Series Music Award at this year’s 23rd annual SOCAN Awards Gala held in late November at Roy Thomson Hall, directly across the street from ole’s downtown Toronto offices on King Street West. The award was for music written by Peter Coulman, Carl Lenox and David Tedesco for the Busytown Mysteries series produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment. ole co-owns and manages Cookie Jar’s music publishing properties worldwide as well as administering the companies retransmission royalties.

The composing team of Carl Lenox, Peter Coulman, and David Tedesco was also honoured by SOCAN in 2007 when they won the Children's Music Award for providing the score for the tremendously successful Doodlebops TV series.

In another notable highlight of the evening, ole composer Daniel Friedman picked up his 10th SOCAN Award in the Specialty Television Music and Domestic Television Music categories as he accepted the SOCAN Specialty Television Programming Music Award for his work with Plan Canada, a client of Eagle Com Inc. Plan is a global movement for change, mobilizing millions of people around the world to support social justice for children in developing countries.
