Chris Giansante, Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration, ole
TORONTO, ON (September 27 2016) – ole the world’s fastest-growing, independent publishing and rights management company, announced today that Chris Giansante has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration. In this newly created position, Giansante will oversee and set the strategic direction and accountability framework for the combined global Finance and Administration teams. He will report to ole CEO and Chairman Robert Ott.
“This move comes as part of an ongoing modernization of our Finance & Admin functions, which is critical to ensuring that we remain at the leading-edge of rights management,” said Mr. Ott. “ole also continues to invest heavily in proprietary technologies that underpin our client service-oriented culture.”
Giansante will also oversee strategy for IT assets associated with ole’s Finance & Administration and Conductor, the company’s proprietary data analytics and BI system. Conductor is a powerful, data conforming and analytics tool that brings intelligence to the management of ole and client IP in every IP vertical. The tool has evolved recently to enable complex data partnerships with third parties.

Since joining ole in 2010, Giansante has held roles in ole’s Acquisitions department where he worked on several important transactions including the Acquisition of Sony Pictures’ assets. Most recently, he served as VP Administration where he effected significant modernization of ole’s approach.
Prior to ole, Giansante served in an analyst capacity at RBC Capital Markets, and with firms in the automotive and environmental technologies sectors. In 2010, he was hired by ole as a Financial Analyst in the company's Acquisitions department, earning a promotion to Senior Analyst in 2013. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 2008 and his MBA in 2010, both from the University of Windsor. He is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario as a CPA, CMA.
