ole has concluded a North American deal with the award-winning W!LDBRAIN Entertainment for the Administration of the top-rated and critically-acclaimed hit children's series, Yo Gabba Gabba! The deal adds to ole's large presence in Children's music publishing where the company co-owns considerable catalog and enjoys relationships with companies like Cookie Jar, Nelvana, WGBH and Random House.

Premiering on Nickelodeon in the United States in August of 2007 and now airing on Nick Jr. in the U.S. and Treehouse TV in Canada, Yo Gabba Gabba! currently ranks as one of television's most popular series'. The show was created by Christian Jacobs, lead singer of the California-based band The Aquabats, and Scott Schultz, who both became fathers in 1999 and despaired of the quality of children's TV programming at the time. The popularity of the educational yet entertaining show that Jacobs and Schultz had first envisioned has also made it easier to attract the name artists and performers who have become such an important part of the series. Jack Black, Andy Samberg, Elijah Wood, Mos Def, Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo), Amare Stoudemire (New York Knicks), professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, Weezer, The Roots, Hot Hot Heat and Hip Hop legend Biz Markie, who was a featured performer on the Yo Gabba Gabba! 60-date North American tour last year, are among the major celebrities, athletes and performing artists who have willingly made guest appearances.

Currently in its third season, the series won its second consecutive Television Critics Association Award last year for Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming. It was named by Time magazine as one of the best new shows of 2007, nominated for a Daytime Emmy in both 2008 and 2009 for Best Costume Design, and won a BAFTA Children's Award in 2008.  The success of the series has also led to the creation of the touring show, Yo Gabba Gabba! LIVE! There's A Party in My City, and the release of seven DVD's and two albums of music from the show titled Yo Gabba Gabba: Music is Awesome, Volumes 1 & 2, as well as a series of children's books and a branded line of clothing and accessories.

"'Don't Bite Your Friends,' 'Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Lose' and 'Don't Be Afraid' are Yo Gabba Gabba! life lessons taught through song that are important messages for children of all ages," points out David Weitzman, ole's Los Angeles-based Director, Business Development. "ole is thrilled to work with such a unique, funny and heartfelt show that has touched so many lives through story, amazing characters, sets and songs. The vast array of musical talent that has performed on Yo Gabba Gabba! is unprecedented!"
