ole and its songwriters enjoyed recognition this week in Nashville where the company took home 3 ASCAP and 3 BMI Country Song Awards.

At the 55th annual ASCAP Country Music Awards, held on November 6 at the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville, ole received three awards. “How I’ll Always Be” (performed by Tim McGraw) and “I Know Somebody,” (performed by LOCASH), both co-written by ole’s Jeremy Stover, and earned awards for being two of country music's most performed songs of the period between April 2016 and March 2017. Adam Hambrick also received an award for “How Not To,” performed by Dan + Shay. “I Know Somebody” and “How Not To” both reached the number one spot on the Billboard Country Charts during the year, as well.

The #1 single “Peter Pan,” co-written by ole legacy writer Jesse Lee and performed by Kelsea Ballerini, was recognized at the 65th annual BMI Country Awards, held on Nov 7 at BMI's Nashville offices in the heart of Music Row. Another #1 single, “A Little More Summertime,” co-written by Tony Martin and performed by Jason Aldean, was also honored as one of the past year’s 50 most-performed country songs on U.S. radio and television. ole received a third award for “How I’ll Always Be,” co-written by Chris Janson and performed by Tim McGraw.

The wins are just the latest in a long string of successes in 2017 for ole Nashville. So far this year, the division has celebrated four number one hits, more than 40 international singles and hundreds of cuts recorded by elite artists in the US, Canada and Australia.

“We are ecstatic to have so many ole songs recognized as the best of the past year. It’s a testament to both the caliber of writers on our roster and the talent of our staff,” said ole VP Creative John Ozier.
