ole, one of the world's largest independent music publishers, has been honoured by the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) as Music Publisher of the Year for the 5th consecutive time.
The achievement is made all the more significant in that it is the fifth win in the category in the seven years since the company's founding on September 28, 2004. ole's initial win in 2007 marked the first time in 15 years that an independent music publisher had won the category.

An indication of the depth of ole's catalogue of great songs came during the CCMA Awards show; a third of the songs performed were ole-affiliated including "1929" Tara Oram; "(When You) Fall Like That" One More Girl; "Let Your Love Speak" Emerson Drive; "Put Some Alcohol On It" Gord Bamford; and "Country Girl" Doc Walker.
ole is coming off a 12-month period that has seen the company enjoy 14 charting singles in the U.S. including two Billboard Country chart-toppers: Rascal Flatts' "Why Wait" (Jimmy Yeary) and Billy Currington's "Let Me Down Easy" (Marty Dodson). ole has had dozens of significant cuts with artists like Taylor Swift, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, The Judds, James Otto, Dean Brody, Doc Walker, Lee Ann Womack, Heidi Newfield, Blake Shelton, Emerson Drive, The Higgins, Easton Corbin, One More Girl, Victoria Banks and High Valley, among many others.
