FEBRUARY 7, 2020 (TORONTO) - Today, Toronto-based alternative rock band Stuck On Planet Earth, released their single “Higher Than The Drugs” via Anthem Records/Anthem Entertainment, one of the world's leading independent music and entertainment content and services companies.

Produced by Steve Molella of Finger Eleven, “Higher Than The Drugs” is the second single from Stuck On Planet Earth’s debut album set for release this year.

“Like in any bad relationship, often times one finds comfort in the toxicity. ‘Higher Than The Drugs’ is about deciding to break ties with your addiction because you’ve reached a level within yourself where you’re higher than the drugs could ever take you.”

Stuck On Planet Earth are a blazingly tight trio known for their primal, high-energy live shows and a signature mix of alternative rock and R&B. Comprised of Adam Bianchi (guitars/vocals), Al Capo (bass/vocals), and Andrew Testa (drums), the band was founded in 2007 as teenagers and have developed their sound over thousands of hours of playing together on stage and in the studio. Since then, their music has debuted on the Canadian iTunes Alternative and Canadian rock/alternative charts, gaining play on outlets including The Verge (XM), Aux TV, CBC, CFNY 102.1 The Edge and have shared the stage with notable acts including Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts, Finger Eleven, Weezer, and Motörhead. The band ended 2019 on a high with a central Canadian tour with MOIST on their 25th anniversary tour and is set to perform a sold-out show at Toronto’s Drake Underground on Feb 8.
